The April Contest: What's Your Favorite Line?
THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.
Hello my dear friends -
We're barreling toward May 23, so you best make sure you have a Lost-inspired outfit ready for the big finale. And what better Lost tee is there than a free one?
That's right, it's time for another contest. Remember the CafePress design competition I wrote about a few months ago? Well, they picked winners for each of their five categories (you can see them all here), as well as an overall champion (featured on the left), and now YOU have a chance to own one of the winning tees, courtesy of CafePress.
All you have to do to enter is tell me your favorite line of dialogue ever uttered on the series, and please include the character who said it (it's OK to have a few lines said by different characters... but only if they're a part of the same conversation, and it's also OK to choose the same line another person already submitted). I'll pick the winner randomly, and therefore you can only enter once... or else you will be tossed aside like a stale fish biscuit. Lost fans from all countries are welcome to participate.
This contest will end at 11 PM Eastern Time on Monday, April 12. I'll post the winner on Tuesday.
Have fun and good luck!

"The universe, unfortunately, has a way of....course correcting." - Eloise Hawking
Hey there e!
I've gotta say. My favorite line is "Every little bump we hit or turbulence, I mean I, I actually close my eyes and I pray that I can get back." Said by Jack, of course, in the Season 3 finale. Matthew Fox's delivery is just perfect.
wow... this is a tricky one, actually i keep a file with my favorites and it got already 13 pages, but i gotta say one from the early eps and made me fanatic about the show:
Hurley: Okay, that thing in the woods: maybe it's a monster, maybe, it's a - pissed-off giraffe! I don't know!
Lost without LLL wouldnt be the same
Tks e.
Vinicius - Brazil
"Desmond?" - Penny, "The Constant"
"You taste like stawberries". -Sawyer
"You taste like fish biscuits" narrowly beats out "See you in another life, brotha."
The iconic line by Charlie during the pilot: "Guys, where are we?"
"We have to go back, Kate. WE HAVE TO GO BACK!"
Jack, Season 3 finale.
I still get goosebumps when I watch this scene!
I love you Penny, I always will... (sniff, sniff...)
"Come on, Freckles, wait, now look, you need me to make ya a mix tape?"
My favorite has to be Locke's persistant "Don't tell me what I can't do!". I constantly say this and it really represents so many things to me.
"We're not going to Guam, are we.". Lapidus
(I have many more than that but that's the first one that came to mind!)
Hurley-
"You just totally scooby-doo'd me didn't you?"
My fav. is still from season one, Sawyer saying: "Guess what? I just shot a bear!"
"I just lied to a samurai" - Hurley
"Maybe that's Jesus on the phone... Yes it is Jesus. He wants to know what kind of car you want"
Hurley's Mom is the perfect Mom.
Thanks for the contests! Cyndy K.
Since Germ already put my true favorite line, I'll have to go with Ben's "We're the good guys, Michael."
Kelvin telling Desmond about when Radzinsky died, "The bitch if it was I only had 108 minutes to bury the poor bastard."
"Don't tell me what I can't do!!"
-John Locke
"that would just be ridiculous" - sawyer
Hi Erika, so many good lines, but the one that comes to mind and not yet said..
"If we can't live together, we're going to die alone"..Jack Shephard.
Sorry, I tried to email you - I forgot...
Easy-Schmeasy!!
"Because let's face it, the Ewoks suck, dude..."
-Hurley to Miles re: "Empire Strikes Back"
-DML
Hurley: You have some...Arzt...on you.
"WAAAAAAALT" ok, no xD
Lets pick "me Kate, me throw rock" - Sawyer lol
"Jesus Christ is not a weapon" -Carmen Reyes
Thanks!
Stephanie in Burbank, CA
"It's about time." - Eloise Hawking to Desmond when he shows up in FST at the party during set up.
Hurley in Dr. Linus while talking to Richard - "So, you're not time traveling? But you look the same as you did 30 years ago. How is that possible? Is this like a Terminator thing? You a cyborg? Vampire?" Loved that! Of course there are many more but I always love it when Lost sneaks a laugh in there on me. Thanks for the contest!
"Australia is the key to the whole game." - Hurley
"Jesus is not a weapon". SeƱora Reyes
One line I can never get over:
"...destiny, John, is a fickle bitch."
-Benjamin Linus
"Just pee on it, man. You need to pee. Pee on it!"
Lol
I think Sawyer has the best quotes!
Sawyer: There is a new sherriff in town. Ya'll better get used to it.
The conversation that pretty much had me in tears was when Desmond and Penny spoke on the phone when he was on the freighter.
Especially at the end of the call when it quickly cuts back and forth and ends with them saying "I love you" at the same time.
Ahh!
"I'll see you in another life, Brotha." - Desmond Hume
"Alright dude, we're from the future. Sorry." -- Hurley
Gotta go with Jackbeard's "We have to go BACK!" from the Season 3 finale. Delectable delivery from the fantastic Mr. Fox, and to me it encapsulates the whole flash forward reveal.
This one is kind of long, but the payoff was just awesome. It goes to show just how self-centered Jack can be.
JACK: Hurley! What's he saying?
HURLEY: Uh, what's who saying?
JACK: Jacob, I saw you talking to him.
HURLEY: I'm not talking to Jacob.
JACK: Don't lie to me. Please, if you know something, anything that can help us figure out--
HURLEY: It's not Jacob, man!
JACK: Then, who is it?
Hurley: Sorry Jack, but this has nothing to do with you.
"See you in anotha life, brotha" Desmond Hume
This line popped right back in my head after I watched Desmond meet Penny in the stadium he originally met Jack in way back when.
John: "Don't tell me what I can't do!"
I love Hurlyisms so here's one of my favorites:
HURLEY: What's that thing where doctors make you feel better just by talking to you?
JACK: Bedside manner.
HURLEY: Yeah, that. Yours sucks, dude.
Thanks for the contest e, Linda
So hard to choose just one favorite line. But the ones that rank high at the top of the list would be pretty much anything said by Miles:
"That douche is my dad"
"He's Korean. I'm from Encino."
"I'm in the circle of trust!"
Oh, and this gem from Hurley:
"You guys were in 1954, you mean like Fonzie time?"
"Because a leader can't lead until he knows where he's going." - John Locke.
Sawyer, down in the pit in "Everybody Hates Hugo" (Yeah, I'm doing some homework for this week) to Ana Lucia:
"You want me hot lips? You're gonna have to come down here and ... *SLAM* ... Bitch."
Nothing to do with the show's mythology, but one of the lines that broke up my confusion by making me laugh.
Jack: We Have to Go Back
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT"? just kidding ^^
Sawyer: "You're in my light, sticks."
Shannon: "Lightsticks? What the hell is that?"
Sawyer: "Light, comma, sticks. As in those legs of yours."
There have been so so many great lines, but the one that has to win, the line that still gives me chills, is the line that first tells us all we need to know about Ben:
"You guys got any milk?"
Okay so the best most epic line EVER is obviously "Guys... Where are we?" said by Charlie of course!!
A close second is from my man "Im Daniel Faraday. I'm here to rescue you"
LOVES IT.
Find me on Twitter @MollyFaraday :)
I have so many favorite lines, and 90% of them are said by Ben, naturally. I'll have to go with
"How many times do I have to tell you, John? I always have a plan."
Thanks, E!
MILES: "She bumps her head and forgets english? We're supposed to believe that???"
FRANK: "..Ask the guy who communes with the dead..."
Frank rocks!!
Miles: "How stupid do you think I am?"
Jack: "I don't know, Miles, how stupid are you?"
Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes: I'm writing "Empire Strikes Back."
“You guys got any milk?” – Ben
It's hard, so many to choose from. I'll go with this one:
"Bear, is that you?" by Hugo.
Thanks, e, as always!
I would have to say my all time favorite line is also kinda of inside joke. The episodes is 303" Further Instructions".Charlie is watching Locke make the sweat lodge.Charlie say's: What, you can't speak John? You're mute? [Locke nods] I am sorry about that. So where are Eko and Desmond? Are they off being mute and building structures, as well? [Locke gestures to his throat again] I know; you can't speak. [Locke continues gesturing while Charlie guesses what he's saying] You need to speak? To me? What do you want to--? [Locke grabs a handful of sand] Sand? You need to speak to the sand? [Locke gestures toward the tree line] Trees? Yeah, I've heard they're wonderful conversationalists. [Locke walks toward Charlie] Hey! I don't understand! Who do you need to speak to? [Locke spreads his arms wide and spins around] Church? Sky? [Locke draws a circle on the ground] Island? [Locke points to say "that's right"] Island? You need to speak to the island?. Well out of that i just love.. [Locke gestures toward the tree line] 'Trees? Yeah, I've heard they're wonderful conversationalists.' Our own little Hobbit joke!Got to love this show!
Ben: John Locke was... a believer. He was a man of faith, he was a much better man that I will ever be. And I've very sorry I murdered him.
Lapidus (muttering): Weirdest damn funeral I've ever been to.
Hurley to Sawyer:
"Dude. That beer's been there since before Rocky 3, maybe even 2, it's probably poison by now"
Bernard - "I am a dentist, I am not Rambo"
:)
"You guys got any milk?" Henry Gale/Ben Linus
Wonderfully creepy!
Fabio-Italy
"MAN IN BLACK: They come. They fight. They destroy. They corrupt. It always ends the same.
JACOB: It only ends once. Anything that happens before that is just progress."
I can't find it, so I won't get it perfct, but when they time travel and find Vincent, Rose and Bernard and Rose is like, "Aw hell...."
Hurley when told they are in 1974,
"Uh, what?!"
Mr Eko: Don't mistake coincidence for fate.
Thanks for all the recaps - you're the best, E!
I am rewatching Season 1 right now, and I replayed this a couple of times, still makes me laugh!
"Baby, I'm tied to a tree in the jungle of mystery. And I've just been tortured by a spinal surgeon and a genuine Iraqui....of course I'm serious" --Sawyer
Chang: What year were you born? What year?
Hurley: Uh, 1931?
Chang: You're 46?
Hurley: Yeah. Yes, I am.
Chang: So you fought in the Korean War?
Hurley: There's no such thing.
Chang: Who's the president of the United States?
Hurley: All right, dude. We're from the future. Sorry.
"SON OF A"
"bitch."
The Little Prince
Narrowly beating out:
"Bitch."
Everybody Hates Hugo intro
I'm a simple man.
"Don't mistake coincidence for fate."
- Mr. Eko
(What Kate Did)
Thanks!
jason
"You guys got any milk?" - Ben Linus, The Whole Truth
Even though Jack's place as fan (and personal) favorite has ebbed and waned over the years, his speech in season one still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
Jack: "Last week most of us were strangers, but we're all here now. And god knows how long we're going to be here. But if we can't live together, we're going to die alone."
I think it really encapsulates the popularity of this whole series--a bunch of rag tag, nobodies thrust together by fate. We're enthralled because of the collective stories of such an amazing cast as a whole, not because we've followed Jack (or Sawyer, or Kate, etc) the whole time.
Guys, where are we?
Sawyer: There is a new sherriff in town, boys. Ya'll better get used to it.
From season one:
Jack: Things could be worse.
Hurley: [squeals] How ?
"See you in another life, brotha" spoken by Desmond Hume. Seriously one of those classic lines that just keeps on giving.
Hi e
One of my favourite lines is when Rose said to Jack
If you say "live together, die alone" to me Jack, I'm gonna punch you in the face.
"So we saved the world together for a moment, and that was lovely" Desmond.
That and the fantastic "Don't mistake coincidence for fate." LOVE that line!!!!
Thanks E!
Hurley and Frank always have the best lines so it was hard to pick just one but I'll go wtih Hurley's "You guys were in 1954, you mean like Fonzie time?" I think I fell off the couch after hearing this. My husband ran in and checked on me to make sure I didn't faint or something!
Kristen in NOLA
Sawyer to Michael, on the broken raft;
'What you gonna do? Splash me?'
"A leader can't lead until he knows where he's going."
- Locke
"You're not a zombie, right?" - Hurley, in What Kate Does.
Thanks for your fantastic recaps.
uggghooooooooooooh (smoke monster noise)
guys, where are we? - Charlie, Season 1
"Hey, don't talk about bacon." - Lapidus
I will never not love "Dude, you've got some Arzt on you", said of course by Hurley
and "Have a cluckity cluck cluck day" by Jin in Hurley's dream at the start of Everybody Hates Hurley
HURLEY: Dude, that beer's been sitting there since before Rocky III, maybe even II. It's probably poison by now.
SAWYER [pointing at Roger]: Skeletor seems to like it. [Sawyer clinks the beer can on Roger's skull] Bottoms up.
HURLEY: That's not cool, dude. That guy had a mom, a family, and friends. Oh, and a name, [unintelligible] it's Roger Workman.
SAWYER: It's Work Man, you blockhead. That's his job. He was a Dharma janitor.
HURLEY: Yeah, well you should still respect the dead.
Ben: Thank you. So, tell me John. How do you expect to pilot our submarine? I mean, it's a complicated piece of machinery. You don't just press "Submerge".
You gonna beat me with your Jesus stick? - Charlie (To Eko)
"Oh happy day, here comes Dr. Giggles."
Good luck with your book, Erika!
"You guys got any milk" - Ben Linus
"Thank you, BOAR EXPERT!"
Locke: Is this saying what I think it's saying?
Ben: If you mean Time-Traveling Bunnies, then yes John, it is.
Hey e! It's not a spoken line, but, my favorite's gotta be...
"Not Penny's Boat (on Charlie's hand)"
which of course leads to the greatest moment of sacrifice on the series to date. R.I.P. Charlie.
Thanks, e!
Michael
"it was a sacrifice the island demanded." - John Locke
DonnaV
Anything Mr. Eko says is amazing but I love this.
John: 'Why do you find it so hard to believe?'
Jack: 'Why do you find it so easy?'
John: 'It's never been easy!'
It's almost impossible to choose just one, but for the sheer jaw-dropping effect it had the first time I heard it, I'm going for Jack's:
"We have to go back Kate. We have to go back!!!"
"Because he's the only one that will have me." - Ben - 6x07 Dr. Linus
"Dude, you've got some Arzt on you." - Hurley
"We're not going to Guam, are we?" - Frank Lapidus.
Another awesome contest!
Sawyer vs the Boar
"Awww, son of a... ohhh... peed on my shirt. Took my shirt out of the bag and peed on it. And you say this ain't personal."
I would have to say that is Jack's pathetic whine in the Season 3 finale that is my all time favorite line (I was one of those who did not know it was a flash forward--so I was stunned):
"We have to go back, Kate"
interesting contest this time. hard to narrow it down. I like how Hurley ad libbed in "Vampire" and I like all of Sawyer's crazy nicknames...which I could go on forever about. And I like "Brotha", lost would not be the same without it.
There are innumerable excellent lines, "Hurley can't track anything unless it's somthered in bacon grease" followed by "don't talk about bacon" ranks high.
However, the many incarnations of "sonofabitch" have to take top place. The utterance by Bernard upon seeing the other losties during the time flashes was unexpected, and classic.
I think I'd have to go with "Whatever Happened, Happened" as a tee.
Thanks, e!
"...Because Destiny John, is a FICKLE BITCH."
this epic line by Mr. Benjamin Linus has been my favourite....just amazing!!!
My favorite is apparently pretty popular:
"Jesus Christ is not a weapon." - Carmen Reyes
"Destiny is a fickle bitch" -Benjamin Linus
This moment introduced the flash forward and threw my conceptions of the show out the window, and became my favorite TV b/c of it
"We have to go back Kate. We have to go back!!" - Jack
"Come on you sonofabitch!" -- Juliet :( :(
Please don't give up, Des. Because
all we really need to survive is one person who truly loves us.
and you have her. I will wait for
you. Always.
I love you, Pen
Gotta be the first scene that really emotionally moved me from the series.
Charlie to Jack & Kate, "Oh, you two have an inside joke... how perfectly wonderful for you both."
I have wanted to say that so many times!! :~)
"See you in another life, brotha"
-Desmond to Jack
My favorite line hands down is:
"See you in another life brotha."
Ever since Desmond said that in season 2 I knew something was going on with parallel realities.
LOVE IT!
Another memorable line is from ben: "destiny is a fickle bitch"
"Alright, we're from the future. Sorry."
-My dawg, Hurley.
"Dude, that was like, a Jedi moment." Hurley
E rocks as always <3
Frank Lapidus: "We're not going to Guam, are we?"
"Three days before you came down here, before we met, I heard a banging on the hatch doors, shouting. But it was you John, wasn't it? You say there isn't any purpose, there's no such thing as fate. But you saved my life, brother, so that I could save yours." -- Desmond, Hero of a Thousand Timelines
Thanks, e!!!
Not really original but:
"Guys, where are we?" - Charlie Pace
"We're stuck in a bloody snowglobe!" - Desmond
Miles: Has it occurred to any of you that your buddy's actually gonna cause the thing he says he's trying to prevent? Perhaps that little nuke is the incident? So maybe the best thing to do... is nothing?
The last line of this little Season 1 conversation:
http://superduperstream.blogspot.com/2010/04/lost-funny-quote.html
"Sayid - A minor magnetic anomaly might explain a variance of 2 or 3 degrees, but not this.
Jack - What are you saying?
Sayid - I'm saying this compass is obviously defective."
Just sums up how far Lost has come, from that feeling of KNOWING what is right and what is wrong, what is obvious, to having the rug swept out from under us and the blindfold pulled off our eyes, our feelings from Season 1 (that it is more obvious for a compass to be defective than to think the island has magical magnetic properties) seems so silly now.
So, Sayid's line:
"This compass is obviously defective."
"...So I guess this means I'm out of the book club." - Benjamin Linus
This is my favourite from Kate
"I only made out with him because torturing him didn't work."
Hurley: "I'm writing THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK."
Writen not spoken: "NOT PENNY'S BOAT"
Hurley (King of the One-liners) "You've got some Arzt on you."
Jack: I don't believe in destiny.
Locke: Yes, you do. You just don't know it yet.
The heart wants what the heart wants.
Man of Science man of Faith - season 2.
Locke: WHY DO YOU FIND IT SO HARD TO BELIEVE?!!
Jack: WHY DO YOU FIND IT SO EASYYY?!!
Locke: IT'S NEVER BEEN EASYYY!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyLSmM7Qbpo
I like Hurley's "Dude, you've got some . . . Arzt on you." mattclott@yahoo.com
Sawyer: ...bunch of Jabronis.
Jin: (in thick accent, clearly losing meaning in translation) Jabonese?!
"How many times do I have to tell you, John? I always have a plan."
I love that line.
This was a really hard question, but I'm going to go with:
"You think they would have come by now..."
-Sayid
I generally regard that as the point where viewers of the show either turned their television off, or became ravaging fanatics, kinda like us!
It wasn't actually said on the show by Charlie himself, but ''Not Penny's Boat'' is probably my favourite 'line' of Lost. It's been mentioned by other characters (Desmond/Sawyer) throughout the season 4 episodes, so I guess it counts. :D
Going with one from this season:
"Nothing is irreversible" - Jack Shephard
SON OF A BITCH!
Uttered by Sawyer about 1500 times over the course of the series.
Alex
Franck Lapidus: We're not going to Guam, are we?
(I love every single line of the captain)
http://www.cafepress.com/+lost_whatever_happened_flight_shirt_gray,432716703
Regards from Spain
ALFONSO
Desmond: See you in another life, brotha.
So many good lines have already been mentioned, but here's two of my favorite:
Charlie (to Mr. Eko):
"What are you building, a Starbucks?"
Sawyer: "Oh, look, it's my favorite leaf!"
Thanks, e!
"I saw a guy lying there with an ankle holster so i took the gun, thought it might come in handy. Guess what? I just SHOT A BEAR!" - James Ford
"So?"
Ben's response to Locke when Locke says "You just blew up everyone on the freighter." (Season 4, Somethign Nice Back Home Part 2.)
I love anytime someone (usually MIB in disguise, I think) says "You have work to do" or some such variation. That and "The island isn't done with you yet."
"Guys, where are we?" - Charlie Pace
'Guys....where are we?' - Charlie Pace.
Thanks for your always awesome recaps, e!!
Bert Hooks
Maybe because I just re-watched 'The Constant', 'The Variable' and 'Flashes Before Your Eyes' this weekend, my favorite line right now is "I love you Penny, and I'll never leave you again". Ahhhh.....
-Laura in Salt Lake(aka Lostylady)
No question, my favorite line is as follows:
"Destiny, John, is a fickle bitch." ~ Ben Linus
John Locke: 2 players. 2 sides. One is light. One is dark.
I know it's a little cliche but it IS a great line and its really starting to seem like that one line sums up the whole show.
My newest favorite:
"Take me to your leader" - Sawyer
Thanks, e.
My email is: gsheade@vapld.info
Anything that comes out of Hurley's mouth is priceless:
To Walt: "Locke's out in the jungle killing stuff."
To Jin: "Are you sure you don't speak English? There's a rumor that you do... Your wife's hot!"
To Charlie: "She's kind of cute, right? You know, in an I've-been-terrorized-by-the-Others-for-forty-days kind of way?"
To Libby: "I'm going to live alone and be one of those guys. You know the crazy guys, with no clothes, and the big beard... who's naked and throws doodie at people."
To Sayid: "You know maybe if you ate more comfort food, you wouldn't have to go around shooting people."
To Jacob about seeing dead people: "Sure it's wonderful apart from the part where I'm crazy."
-Michelle
Short and sweet but I laugh EVERY time, "Kaaaaarl" - Ben Linus as Karl threatens to beat a tied-up Ben Linus.
"Guys, where are we?" - Charlie Pace
Sawyer: Here's to being dead. Flocke: You're taking this extremely well. Sawyer: Taking what extremely well? Flocke: That I'm here. Sawyer: I don't give a damn if you're dead, or time traveling, or ghosts of Christmas past. All I care about is this whiskey, so bottoms up, and get the hell out of my house.
“We’re not going to Guam, are we” said by Frank Lapidus to Jack Shepherd outside the cockpit of Ajira Arlines Flight 316 as Frank saw all the other members of the “Ocianic Six” minus Aaron plus Ben on his flight.
Episode “316”, Season Five
“You need me to make you a mixtape?” - Sawyer
e
thanks for the enjoyable recaps. LLL will be missed. For once I don't agree with Rose: my favorite line is Jack's "If we can't live together, we are going to die alone"
David
Locke to Ben in Confirmed Dead
"What is the Monster?"
This is one of the most used lines on the show:
"Don't tell me what I can't do"
Locke
"You just totally scooby-doo'd me didn't you?"
"Where are we?"
Said by my favorite character Charlie :D
It basically summed up what every single character on the show and viewer watching it was thinking :P
"Don't tell me what I can't do!"
-Locke
Sam
Ilana to Ben "I'll have you."
Hurley: Dude !
Sawyer has the best lines:
Here's a great one from Season 2.
"Great plan, Moonbeam. And after that we can sing Kumbaya and do 'trust falls'."
"We have 2 giant hamsters running on a massive wheel at our secret underground cave..." Ben speaking to John Locke - [S3E13]
Thx e!
This one is recent, but a good one..."What do you need a boat for? Can't you just turn into smoke and fly your ass over the water?"
This is a bit long, but I love the dialogue between Hurley and Miles regarding time travel in Season 5, ep. 11:
MILES: What the hell are you doing, Tubby?
HURLEY: Checking to see if I'm disappearing.
MILES: What?
HURLEY: "Back to the Future," man. We came back in time to the island and changed stuff. So if little Ben dies, he'll never grow up to be big Ben, who's the one who made us come back here in the first place. Which means we can't be here. And therefore, dude? We don't exist.
MILES: You're an idiot.
"What do you need a boat for? Can't you just turn into smoke and fly your ass over the water?"-Sawyer
Thanks e!
So many great ones to choose from, but here's a recent fav-
Sawyer: What do you need a boat for? Can't you just turn into smoke and fly your ass over the water?
MIB: Do you think if I could do that I would still be on this island?
Sawyer: No, 'cause that would be ridiculous.
These are a lot of fun to read. From season 1, Jack and Kate are flirting, and Charlie walks up:
"If you guys are finished verbally copulating we should get a move on."
Hurley: "What just happened?"
Jin: "I just found a flashlight!"
"I'm A Complex Guy Sweetheart" - James Sawyer Lafleur Ford
I love the way Lost mixes the Tragic and the comic effortlessly!
When Hurley explains to his Ma what really happened on the island with such emotion and yet with comic lines is one of my favourites but far to long to submit. So that leaves Ma Reyes immortal utterance,
"Why is there a dead Pakistani on my couch"
Just back from her shopping, said as if its a normal occurance and completely wrong in the detail....Priceless!!!!
"We're gonna have to watch that again," said by John Locke after watching the oreintaion tape. Sums up my reaction to every episode.
Carmen Reyes [to Hugo]: "Jesus Christ is not a weapon. Okay. Enjoy your party."
- There's No Place Like Home, Part 1 (4x12)
Well, pretty much anything Miles or Frank have ever said.
But the best would probably have to be Jack's "We have to go back, Kate. We have to go back!" from the Season 3 finale just for the shock factor.
Jack: "We have to go back, Kate. We have to go back!"
Desmond: I push this button every 108 minutes. I don't get out much.
Talking about the old beer he's drinking:
"Skeletor over here seems to like it."
-Sawyer
"Live together, Die alone." - Jack
"Others 101: Gotta know Latin" Juilet to Sawyer
Among many many others. :)
Ben: We're the good guys Michael!
The all Knowing Frank Lapidus, "Wait a second, We're not going to Guam are we?"
We have to go back, Kate--Jack
I love the scene that opens s5e02 "The Lie," especially this exchange:
HURLEY: But he'll never find them. I mean, the Island disappeared. We all saw it. It's gone. Bloop!
JACK: You think anyone's gonna believe that... believe any of it? They're gonna think you're crazy.
I can't really explain it, but I just love how Jack/Matthew Fox says that line.
"Please don't give up, Des. Because all we really need to survive is one person who truly loves us. And you have her. -- Penny Widmore, "Live Together, Die Alone"
Charlie: So, first plane crash?
Claire: What gave it away?
Charlie: Ah, you can always spot the newbies.
thanks for the contest e!
"I just lied to a samurai."
-Hurley
What do you need a boat for? Can't you just turn into smoke and fly your ass over the water?--Sawyer
It was a recent one, but a good one.
I believe it was all summed up by Charlie, "Guys, Where are we?"
Sawyer to Kate: "What? He...banished you? Well, I un-banish you. You can stay right here. This is my house. "
This is one of my two favorite quotes: MS. HAWKING: "Well, I know your name as well as I know that you that you don't ask Penny to marry you. In fact, you break her heart. Well, breaking her heart is, of course, what drives you in a few short years from now to enter that sailing race -- to prove her father wrong -- which brings you to the island where you spend the next 3 years of your life entering numbers into the computer until you are forced to turn that failsafe key. And if you don't do those things, Desmond David Hume, every single one of us is dead. So give me that sodding ring."
-"Flashes Before Your Eyes,"
Charlie " Guys..... Where are we?!?!?!"
