Super Thursday

Hello my dear friends -

It's already Thursday again, yay! The best thing about writing Lost recaps might just be that the next episode always seems to come very quickly.

I know nothing about tonight's episode except its title (which I'm still not telling you, in case you haven't heard it already) and what was in the previews. I'm so much more excited for tonight than I was for the premiere, for that very reason. Spoilers are evil!

Since I'm truly staying away from pretty much anything having to do with Lost except the show itself, I don't have much new to report. Except for one thing... some readers have me convinced that when Naomi said "Tell my sister I love her," that was actually a code phrase to warn her crew about the Lostaways. Meaning that she has no sister that we're ever going to meet, and her arriving crew now has reason to be suspicious of our gang. Since we know that at least one of the rescuers has already landed on the Island, we shall soon see if this theory turns out to be true...

Enjoy the show tonight, and if you hear a strange wailing sound outside, it may just be me, howling all the way from Chicago because the bad weather has affected my satellite feed (like it did last night...),

so i wandered over here from your post on darkUFO. good news- i finished my herodotus, so now i can fully experience LOST tonight!! the idea of "tell my sister that i love her" is a code phrase is very interesting. BUT i also like the idea of there being two different people on the phone calling, and i don't think that storyline could go with the code phrase. hmmm- man i just can't wait until tonight!

I know you're busy with company this weekend, but I just had to tell ya that I think your man had one of my all-time favorite lines from this series, ever. "It was Walt...only...taller." Ranks right up there with Sawyer's, "Who the hell are you?" to Niki. "Confirmed Dead" has really put me back in the game--much more so than last week's premiere, I gotta confess. Can't wait to read your recap...you've got a doozy on your hands! Have a great weekend!

Sam I Am - I have time for nothing but LOST, but I will pass your site around to some sports fanatics I know!

Christy G - I am glad you finished your homework, good girl! : ) Thanks for stopping by. I guess we now know the answer to the "sister" question...

Thierry - I guarantee you that my head hurts more than yours does...

Lula - I was wrong about when my relatives are visiting, they're coming NEXT Thursday, so I have time this weekend to write, and I will definitely need it after all that happened on Confirmed Dead. I agree that Locke's line rocked!

So it really was a code thing at the end. :)

Great episode, better than the last one IMO. I hope I'll get to read your recap today or tomorrow, before I get back to another 2 weeks in the army on Sunday. :(

I know you have more things to do than just write up your comments on Lost, but since I found your blog the other day from DarkUFO I have been waiting anxiously for your thoughts on this one. I can't wait to hear what you think was going on with the bear in Tunisia! Keep up the great work, I love it.

I think the bear teleported there as part of teh Dharma work (like the rabbit), and that the Fanastic Four are decendants of or connected to the original Dharma somehow...pissed at Benry for what he has done.
