Congrats to the September Contest Winners... See, the Numbers AREN'T Always Bad!
A few weeks ago I posted a contest based purely on luck. Those whose comments landed in positions 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42 would win a set of Dharma Beer koozies -- all they had to do was list their favorite Lost character.

I loved reading everyone's faves -- and found it fascinating that each of the six winners above listed a different character. I do realize how hard it was for everyone who played to pick just one character from a show that is wonderful precisely because its entire cast rocks the house. So thanks to all of you for sharing your thoughts with me... stay tuned for the October contest, which will be posted within the next 2.5 weeks.

P.S. Some of you have asked me where I bought the Dharma Beer koozies. I actually didn't buy them anywhere... my husband designed them for the Zap2Locke Con event (which I will write about and post pictures from one day!) and we had them custom-printed, so the kind I am giving away are not available for purchase anywhere.

Ah, ABC/Disney has cracked down on people selling anything related to the show (now that THEY sell Lost items on the ABC site) -- I've noticed this on a lot of sites I used to buy stuff from -- their Lost items are now down and they have notices posted from ABC/Disney, so I don't think I want to incur the wrath of The Powers That Be!

Fun Contest: "Submit pix of you or friends who look the most like a LOST cast member and see how much of the faux cast we can re-create."
Just a thought.
p.s. I'm the Faraday tie guy who now has nothing to think about now that they let THAT issue just kind disappear into oblivion with no fanfare. sigh.)

Speaking of ABC/Disney cracking down, you should definitely checkout my new Lost website--The Loophole Lost Forum (www.theloopholelostforum.com). It's everything fans have been inspired to create over the last 5 years because of Lost. The featured items do not of course include any elements that have been trademarked or copyrighted by ABC or Disney. So I only put up the site after some thorough research as to what is trademarked (can you believe they own the numbers string?) anyway, there's a lot of great stuff on the site from some very creative fans, so go check it out.
