"The Daily Show" does LOST - UPDATED

Hello my dear friends -

I didn't get started with the finale write-up until yesterday, so I still have a ways to go until I'm finished. I truly hope I am done by the weekend.

Until then, here is a little something you may have missed from The Daily Show earlier this week. Just trust me, the longer it goes, the more it is about Lost.

For those of you not in the United States, The Daily Show is a "fake news" show hosted by comedian Jon Stewart. At least watch until 3:40, after that the Lost stuff is over with.

UPDATED: The Man has already pulled down the video. You know, I just don't get it... why would they want to stop clips like this from being on YouTube... all it could do it potentially attract new viewers, grrrrrrr.

The video was basically Jon Stewart asking their newest "correspondent," Wyatt Cenac, what he thought about the presidential primaries. Wyatt said that he thought they needed to be more exciting, like Lost. He wondered which candidate "would help get Jack and Kate back together." At one point he said that Bill Clinton needed to be like Michael when Michael decided to help the Others... Bill needed to help Obama's campaign and protect them from "Hillary Widmore." It was pretty good.

During the hiatus I think I'm going to have to keep reminding myself, "A polar bear on a tropical island?!?! There are SO MANY reasons why that's amazing!"

More soon,
- e

SPOT ON ABOUT SEASON 2!!!

Lost was riding high after season 1and lost a big chunk of its viewers mid way through season 2. If season two was 1/2 as good as this season Lost would be on at 8 PM on wednesday instead of the last call 10:00pm tivo time frame on Thursdays.

The cabaret was empty now, a sign said, "Closed for repair,"
Lily had already taken all of the dye out of her hair.
She was thinkin' 'bout her father, who she very rarely saw,
Thinkin' 'bout Rosemary and thinkin' about the law.
But, most of all she was thinkin' 'bout the Jack of Hearts.

I just noticed something about our favorite number, 108, it is also the number of beads in a Mala (used for Hindu meditation -- and I believe I remember my yogi saying that 108 is a sacred number.
