The New-and-Improved Long Live Locke!

Just a quick note to make you aware of some updates I made to this site (and to According to e) over the past weekend. I was a big ol' nerd and went crazy with my HTML skillz!

Here is what is new, in the off-chance that you, too, are a nerd and care about these sorts of things:

- "Favicons" in the URL field and in tabs (in some browsers) - you will see a "mini Locke-head" if it works on your browser.
- Labels for all posts I've written to date. So if you are looking for, say, every Locke-centered episode recap I've ever written, you can find them easily in the "Posts Served Up All Sorts of Ways" section to the right.
- A more easily navigable archives section in the right-hand column as well. Click on the arrows to expose the next layer for any given month or year.
- Emailed posts! If you cannot access 'Long Live Locke' at work or forget to check the site often, you can now get any new posts emailed to you by signing up in the field in the right-hand column. If your email system accepts HTML-coded messages, you will even get all the pictures (but, alas, not my roll-over captions). Just be sure to check your bulk/junk email folders when you first sign up, because when I tested it out, the sign-up confirmation email and the first message with a new post went into my junk folder until I designated them as "not junk."
- RSS feeds! Actually, I've always had an RSS feed, but now I've added the icon in the right-hand column so that I don't need to keep reminding everyone about it.

Enjoy,
- e

I wasn't too sure where to leave this comment. I was watching "Chuck" last night (I think you mentioned that you do not watch it), and they had a special shout out to Lost on it. As he's rambling about the government secrets in his head, like bombings, assassinations, etc when he shouts "Oceanic Flight 815 goes down." I just thought it was awesome...

Yes, I did hear about this! I didn't watch the show but I definitely would've gotten a kick out of it, as we all know that the crash of Flight 815 was certainly a major event in all of OUR lives...

Hi e,
Hope your well. I was at my local market on saturday and there was a stall selling Lost trading cards the complete sets (series 1, 2 and revelations) for £4 each complete set (around $8) Have you seen these in the U.S? if so do you know how much they are as im going to Florida in a few months and I can get them there if they are cheaper!

From what I can tell, the stall you passed has quite a deal. It looks like a set here is $16.50, so double what you are listing. Just one pack of 7 cards is $2.50. I have not seen these, I guess they only sell at comic book stores and other novelty places. I found pricing on the manufacturer's site:

http://www.inkworkscards.com/products/lost/lost1/lost1newprod1.html

And on ABC's store site:

If they are indeed selling the entire set that cheaply in the UK, you should pick them up!

Glen - Thanks for letting me know! I couldn't find it on YouTube, though... if you know the link, send it along. If not, the suspense just builds further for the December DVD arrival...
